Appeal To Trace Skis Owner

Police are appealing to the public to trace the owners of some skis and ski poles recovered following a burglary arrest.

???On 30 October a 43 year old man was arrested in connection with a burglary and handling stolen goods.

During a routine search of his address, officers recovered two sets of skis and poles.

The man arrested failed to provide an account for how he was in possession of these items and officers not yet identified any incidents which have reported such items as lost or stolen.?? ?

Officers are appealing to anyone who thinks that this ski equipment may be theirs, to call them.

DC Darren Brownrigg said, "If you believe that these items may be yours, we have them in safe-keeping and may be able to reunite them to you."? ?

??The man arrested was subsequently charged with burglary and is currently on bail to attend Blackfriars Crown Court.
