The roadshows will be at the following locations:

Saturday, 29 October – Greenford Broadway, Greenford 11am – 3pm

Monday, 31 October – Ealing Town Hall , Ealing 11am – 6pm

Friday, 4 November – Market Place , Acton 2pm – 6pm

Saturday, 5 November – Haven Green, Ealing 2pm – 6pm

Councillor Ranjit Dheer, cabinet member for community services and safety, said: "As the nights draw in it’s important to get everyone thinking about making their homes safer. Burglars are often opportunists who are looking for an empty house and an easy way in."

"By using simple things like timer switches you can really help protect your home."

"I would urge residents to come along and speak to officers or consider booking a home security survey with their local safer neighbourhood team to find out more."
